BLACK DUCK BAR, PALACE CAFE
French Quarter, New Orleans LA
Project Bar
Scope Interior Design, Custom Casework
Site 1,173 sqft
To celebrate the history of sugarcane production in New Orleans, as well as the infamous rum runners of the Prohibition era, Palace Cafe decided to add a new bar to it's second floor level, focused primarily on rum. Previously only used for events and private dining, adding the bar to the second level injected new life into the Cafe's long tradition of serving the New Orleans community.
Project executed by Ariana Rinderknecht while senior designer at Eskew+Dumez+Ripple.
