Located in the Warehouse District of downtown New Orleans, the industrial bones of the historical property guided the design of the project. The open floor layout highlights the existing brick walls, iron-clad columns and large timber beam running through the space. The client's desire to have a cheese bar with daily tastings led to the horse-shoe bar centrally located around the columns, with dining on one side and retail on the other. The custom wood ceiling was added to mask the exposed ceiling and add warmth to the space.
